Review on Enhancing Safety with 3M Safety Walk Slip Resistant General 620 by Nick Kirschenmann

This strap was purchased to provide traction on the teak steps leading to my sailboat gangway. I've tried a few other tread tapes in the 15 years that I've owned a boat and so far I've had good luck with the other 3M Safety Walk tape options. I was looking for something that would work just as well as other 3M protective tape and look a little better on freshly polished teak than dark gray tape. This tape ticks all the boxes and so far so good. Great grip, barefoot or deck shoes. Looks much better than other tapes. I was able to find a pack of 2 reels in Revain stores, apparently the only thing I got of the 2 reels that weren't 'new' was the outer box containing the 2 individually wrapped reels opened was. It was about a third of the list price, and as far as I can tell, exactly the same. This is great material. Spend a few extra dollars and buy a soft rubber roller to hold the tape down while applying. Works much better than the winch handle I used!
