Update 2021-02-07: Both still work. As a result, the rating dropped a few stars. First review: Tracking progress was a handy feature and being able to customize the answer was a great feature. If the dog barks once, a certain reaction is triggered. If they bark again within a minute, you may get a separate reply. If they bark again within a minute of the first bark, a third response is elicited. After that, the device goes into sleep mode, so you don't have to worry about hitting your dog again and again. Not only is this a bark collar, but with the app you can use it as a trainer for other things. The ability to customize vibration, sound, and shock (turn it on or off and choose a level) are great features. My German Shepherd can be a bit neurotic and this thing keeps her from getting angry. She's smart, so she only triggered the static charge (which I didn't activate until the third reply) twice, both on the first day. Now she occasionally barks as a warning but is reminded not to go mad and wears the collar for about a month. The collar records your daily barking history so you can see if progress is being made. Only areas for improvement. I see an improvement in the ability to tell which dog is barking, as once another dog barked while standing next to a dog with a collar and it worked. To my knowledge it only happened once. Another improvement is how the collar attaches to the corrective stimulator. Definitely not interchangeable. So if your other German shepherd decides to help his buddy remove the collar by eating him, the device is useless (it happened to me). That aside, I bought another one as it's just what I need in terms of controls and response customization.
