Review on Vondior Tire Pressure Gauge – Accurately Measure 0-60 PSI with Easy-to-Read Glow Dial – Ideal for Car and Truck Tires by Eric Trask

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good item at Tools & Equipment

I bought two of these sensors, one for each machine which gave me the opportunity to compare them. First, they arrived quickly and in good condition. Out of the box, the gauges looked well made with large, easy-to-read dials. They were easy to use despite having instructions and the company emailed with full contact details, another copy of the instructions and an assurance that if anything went wrong it would be fixed quickly. I can't rate this statement as everything is fine. First, I measured the tire pressure with an interchangeable manometer. I measured 5 times with one gauge and 4 times with another (so I could correct for any bias due to tire pressure changes) and averaged them. Difference in pressure readings from std. Development zero: The measured values of each sensor were reproducible. I then inflated the tire (starting pressure 25psi) to 35psi and repeated the test with the same results. So at 35 psi there was about a 2.6% difference between the gauges. The pressure gauge on my air hose was somewhere between the pressure gauges, so the deviation from "true pressure" was probably less than 2.6%, about 1.3% of the average pressure. So I think there's a good chance these gauges were within tolerance. , but please note that I am NOT able to measure a certified accurate pressure source. But in the real world, who cares? They are accurate enough for normal driving. I also checked both gauges by checking the tire pressure but not pressing the pressure release button. I waited three minutes and looked at the change in the pressure gauge. None of the sensors were. Again, not a perfect test (should have waited longer) but enough to say they're perfectly fit for their intended use. Note that my sample size is small, so I can't comment on the likelihood of you getting a good sensor. to say something about resilience. However, given the company's results, I would bet on good customer service. You seem intent on making a name for yourself. The only downside is that they are made in China. When possible, I prefer to buy American, but these days it's getting harder and harder. The company itself appears to be American, so it's something. In summary, this is a good, well-described, well-functioning tire gauge. I feel at this point I can recommend it. If anything changes over time (e.g. poor stamina) I will update this review.
