Review on Zircon Leak Alert Electronic Batteries by Fort Steffen

I live in Houston, Texas. Have owned 3 of these in 5 years. One is in my AC spill pan, one is in my water heater spill pan, and the other is in my dehumidifier spill pan. See how these alarms prevented damage on three separate occasions. The last time was when Tropical Storm Harvey hit Houston, dropping 37 1/2 inches of rain in 24 hours. Wind and rain have entered my attic. Fortunately, rain was detected by these alarms. I recommended this alarm to a neighbour, she felt the alarm saved her a lot of money when she ran out of hot water. I recommended these alarms to another neighbor. The neighbor didn't raise an alarm. Her house was damaged by a water leak. They believed these alarms would have prevented damage. Batteries were changed once during ownership.
