Review on Ziggurat Dryer Duct Connector STV-90V2, Snap πŸ”Œ to Vent 90 Degree Elbow for Laundry Dryers by Dan Chunn

The knee does not stay on the dryer or on the socket.

I ended up throwing away the elbow pads. The knee does not stay on the dryer or on the socket. What worked - and it worked fantastic! - so this is a clamp that has been attached to a flexible hose. There are fingers that go into the hose and grab it. Then you have a strong collar to attach things to. I put a rubber band around the dryer outlet and wall outlet and then put this collar/hose on. He stayed in place very well. If you want to detach it, you can, but it fits really tight so you don't have to worry about moving the dryer anymore. The knee doesn't stay that way, it sinks with the slightest movement. To be fair, the instructions say to push the dryer against the wall. It would have held him in place; The back of the elbow is flat as you can see in the picture. So if you can get it there without falling, you're fine. What I didn't like about this plan is that it goes deeper than I wanted; He's holding the dryer too far from the wall. In addition, everything depends on whether everything stays in place. I've added some photos as well as a bonus video of me moving my LG dryer. Take out the drawer (requires removing four screws) and then you can use it. I show a backward movement, but surprisingly, with the same technique, if you lift a little, you can pull back slightly as well. Pulling out the drawer gives you access to a strong bracket to hold on to.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Expensive
