I had one 3 years ago and it ended up falling into disrepair although the inside was still intact. The price justifies a new purchase. I especially like that it is a metal panel, stainless steel. It's compact, attractive, fits in your palm/pocket, opens and closes easily for in-store transactions, yet is a decent weight so you'll know if you're missing it. It holds up to 5 credit cards even with US fiat currency. I also like the new differently textured covers, so this time I bought two, one for two different card types.
