Review on DEWALT 608116-00SV 3/8-Inch Anvil Assembly by David Edwards

I have successfully converted my DeWalt DCF885 20v Max 1/4" hex impact wrench to a 3/8" square impact wrench with this. No other part was needed. Especially when working with screws in metal, there was never a lot of tact at the beginning. It's more useful now and seems to have gained some power along the way. He used to have trouble removing my car's mounting nuts (at 80 lb-ft), but he can do it easily and consistently after the rebuild. Now after installing this part I am much happier than owning this tool. This makes an amazing upgrade to the DCF885! Updated on 09/03/2021 (1.5 years after initial review). I've used this regularly to remove the three 15/16" nuts that hold the blades on my 54" mower deck at 90 ft lbs. torque. It acts on her for about a second and then immediately relaxes. I'm still very happy with this remodel!
