Review on 🔧 Sabrent 2.5” SSD & SATA Hard Drive Conversion Kit for Desktop 3.5” Bay (BK-PCBS) by Adam Roman

I have used Sabrent products many times over the years and to date have never had a problem. even approximately the same quality. Today I received the adapter along with a new SSD drive. After a simple drive assembly, I installed a pair in a 3.5" bay, ran some tests, and then imaged the drive. When I unplugged the cable to move the device to another system, its permanent home, some of the adapter port data remained on the PC side in the SATA cable. It literally broke the first time I unplugged the data cable. I have drives that are many years old, have been plugged in and unplugged countless times, and have never had a connector break. so far. The plastic they made this out of is very brittle as you can see in the picture showing how it broke easily when I removed it from the data cable connector. Unfortunately they are as unreliable as they are comfortable, I had high hopes for this product and higher expectations for the Sabrent.
