Good helmet in PPE

OK first. I am NOT a welder. This helmet is NOT a professional welding helmet. It also doesn't come with a professional price tag. I bought this helmet as an upgrade to the one that came with my little Lincoln welder. This is a very good update. Cons: The material of the helmet is a little flimsy and flexes a bit, although I'm not sure if that's a bad thing. Then when assembling the helmet you have to align many parts to the two hinge bolts and hold them while trying to tighten the hinge bolts. It would have been helpful to have 3-4 hands, I only managed 2 and it took me about 20 minutes to get all the settings where I wanted. Pros: Nice big window with a picture in front of my face. The screen goes dark very quickly and then becomes transparent again, depending on the delay set. Make sure you remove both the inner and outer protection from the plastic covers and it was nice to see the helmet comes with two extra outer covers in case they get splashed. Other good points: It's light, well balanced when raised or lowered, the latches holding it in place are pretty positive but release smoothly if you nod your head. After adjusting it back to my personal head it works great, I'm very happy with this helmet.
