Works and works well! Worth the investment!

I'm still getting used to interpreting the signals. I'm getting warnings from miles away, wondering at first if it's worth the noise and doubting its accuracy, but now I have no doubts. I've learned that the intensity of alerts correlates with proximity/strength, and I can see them getting stronger and stronger the closer I get to a location. I drive US and state highways that pass through small towns on a weekly basis, so it's not uncommon for an officer to disappear when I finally get where he was. But I'm driving the same route to/from a very big city, so I'm learning the "spots". I had an alert that started over 3 miles away. The signal faded due to the topography, but gradually grew stronger as it reappeared, eventually becoming an "urgent" sound and I still couldn't see the officer. Until I reached a slight incline with a steep curve. It also picks up reflections from vehicles traveling in the same direction as me but far behind. Obviously weaker but I know where they're coming from because I walked past that place and saw an officer.
