This is my second Yihou fitness tracker. The first was the first fitness tracker I ever had. I seem to have misconfigured this tracker. I couldn't set it to the correct time or date, or change military time. I also didn't understand what app I needed and how to get it. I didn't want to download the wrong app and potentially have security issues. With the help of the community, I finally figured out that I need to scan the QR code on the brochure that comes with the fitness tracker using the scanner in the wallet app on my iPhone. I returned my first Revain fitness tracker and wrote a negative review about the tracker. Yihou Fashion contacted me with more details on how to set up the tracker and asked if I would try the tracker again as I am still in the market. for trackers. First of all, I would like to apologize to Yihou for editing my first review and thank them for their excellent customer service. Second, I want to explain what you need to do to get the most out of this fitness tracker that offers excellent value for money. My guess is that the people who wrote the instructions for this device speak a different main language because something gets lost in the translation. I would suggest going to the App Store and downloading the required "Da Fit" app once you have ordered the tracker. Alternatively, you can wait for the tracker to appear and use your phone's scanner app to scan the QR code on the front of the brochure. Before doing anything with your phone's Bluetooth, log into the downloaded Da Fit app and enter your information (height, weight, age, etc.) and allow access that you wish to share with the tracker. Where I made the mistake the first time around was connecting the tracker to my phone's bluetooth. First the time and date were correct, then again they weren't. If you set it up using your phone's Bluetooth settings, you'll run into issues with the date, time, and possibly accuracy of the fitness gauge. You must sync your device through the Da Fit app, not through your phone's Bluetooth settings. If you do this you shouldn't have the time setting issues that others have complained about, especially with the 12 hour vs 24 hour setting. Downloading the application and setting up the tracker through the application is very simple. When I received the second tracker it took me less than seven minutes to set everything up as I had already downloaded the app to my phone. I've had the watch for almost a week now. I wanted to wait a few days. I wrote my first review of this watch after wearing it for a day. As I said, two weeks later I sent the first tracker back disappointed. I then changed my first review a bit unfavorably. It was my fault for not setting it properly. This time it keeps the time and date. It shows regular time vs military time which you can change in Da Fit app if you want. It seems to be tracking my steps correctly. The heart rate sensor and O2 sensor also appear to be fairly accurate. I used it to click my phone's camera shutter and I got text notifications. I don't really want other notifications coming to the tracker, but you can allow more in the app if you want. I used blood pressure which doesn't seem accurate compared to other devices I use to measure blood pressure. Honestly, I think that's an ambitious claim for a device that you wear on your wrist that costs $40 and does so many other things. While working in a hospital, I received various blood pressure readings from devices that are much more expensive and one of their main functions is measuring blood pressure depending on body position or excessive movement. There are blood pressure related variables that can make it difficult for any device like this to determine blood pressure with high accuracy. I'm not too keen on this tracker feature. Navigating through the tracker functions takes some getting used to. Unlike other mobile devices, it doesn't have a touchscreen, despite what it looks like. With the tracker on your wrist, touch the lower-left corner of the tracker to open the screen. Touch it again to go to the next function screen. Touch and hold the bottom corner of the screen to navigate to a function. Even if you're wearing the tracker on your wrist, just turn your wrist to look at the watch as usual and the time and date screen will appear automatically. Very cool! After a very short time it turns itself off again. Overall I'm very happy with the tracker, especially for the price. I think it's great value for the price. It does a few more things if you're interested, but all I really wanted was a watch and pedometer. O2 and heart rate features are huge bonuses. You seem to be pretty accurate. Also, I find the tracker quite attractive and comfortable on my wrist. I'm not a big fan of body jewelry. This is the only fitness tracker I've ever owned, so I have no comparison. I don't have a lot of disposable income so I figured this would be a solid investment for my first fitness tracker. I love it and would highly recommend it if you're a casual person looking to try a fitness tracker.
