The drive does everything it's supposed to do, but it's not clear from the picture and listing that you MUST have 2 open USB ports for it to work properly: 1 for data and one for electricity. If I had known that, I would have bought a different configuration. I'm using it on a laptop with a limited (2) port. When using the hard drive, I can no longer use the m510 mouse. Other drive lists have pictures clearly showing the need for 2 ports. Ultimately it's my fault, I bought for the price and the speed of delivery.
