Combined with the xFi Advanced Gateway, this device delivers incredibly fast WLAN results. Since both devices are 802.11ax compatible, I'm pushing to around 1000MB/s (1GB). What xfinity doesn't tell you is that 802.11ax isn't enabled by default. When I first installed Fenvi, I got about 500Mbps on 802.11ac, which is still fast, but I wanted to get closer to my 1GB subscription, which I pay for without plugging in a LAN cable have to. So I went to the xfinity gateway (NOT the customer.xfinity.com site) but by entering the default gateway address on the web page - 10.0.0.1. Using the admin password and the admin password on the actual xfinity gateway router will give you access. This will be different with other providers like At&t. You will need to go into your connection settings and manually configure the 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz SSIDs and select 802.11ax which will ENABLE Wi-Fi 6. Once completed and saved, you'll get nearly 500Mbps more on top of what you already had.
