When it comes to pillows, I am difficult to please. I sleep on my stomach, my back, and my side--and I have a bad neck and a bad back. This pillow does it all.Firstly, you probably noticed that this pillow is only 15% down, and 85% goose feathers. This made me skeptical, because down is supposed to be the good stuff, and more down = better pillows. IT'S A LIE. Down is indeed super soft and comfy, but when pillows are chock full of it, they get super springy. This leads to two outcomes: if the pillow is loosely filled (most are), the pillow is comfortable for about 30 seconds, then the down collapses, and your head ends up being about 3/4" off of the mattress. If you have a generously filled pillow (or multiple loosely filled ones), your head sinks down into the pillow, and the remainder of the pillow leans in to cover your mouth and nose and tries to suffocate you.The goose feathers, which I thought were a junk additive, are actually quite important. These have more structure than the down, and won't compress as much. This keeps the pillow from flattening out, and it keeps it from surrounding your head and suffocating you. The down content keeps that floofy, cloudlike quality to the pillow, without going overboard where it's problematic.This pillow is JUST RIGHT. It's "medium filled," neither overstuffed nor under-filled. This allows you to shift the filling around, and give your pillow different shape and support characteristics--which allows you to customize it for how you sleep. It is the PERFECT pillow!I don't know how these are made as inexpensively as they are. It's a good thing they're cheap, though, because my wife likes them so well that she's making me replace ALL the pillows on ALL the beds with just these! No more "my pillow/your pillow" turf wars, no more sorting through the pillow pile to find the "good pillow" to sleep on.
