First, something that isn't noted on the lights is that the white fades in. It is a neat effect, but will actually prevent the amber from coming on until the fade is finished.A huge bonus to these bulbs is that they seem to have some internal capacitance. There is zero flickering even when the engine starts which causes most LED bulbs to flicker momentarily.Unfortunately, I think the design is a bit flawed. The design uses 5 very bright diodes for both amber and white. However, given that there are only 5 of each color, there isn't really enough light put out. Worse, the front facing diode does not have any lens like many other switchbacks so none of the light is diffused or spread. The result is a turn signal that has a very bright "spot" up close, but (in my experience, anyway) isn't even as bright as a halogen light at distance.
