The one I got was green - it was terribly hard and the corn bristles were very thick. A large number of individual bristles were bent and twisted. That's not a good old broom. I have an old whisk from 20+ years ago so there is nothing quite like it and this is NOT an old corn whisk. If you look at the photo of my old and almost broken one you can see the difference in color and size of the bristles. It really affects how well it sweeps. Very disappointed - it's coming back and I'm trying a different look.
