Review on REMINGTON Purple Hair Dryer with Thermaluxe Advanced Thermal Technology - AC9140S by Katrina Davis

Had to replace an old hair dryer that just stopped working. I researched a lot about hair dryers, read a lot of reviews and settled on this one. It's much quieter than my old one and works well. Overall I am happy with this hair dryer but there are a few things I would like to share: 1. I know that it was supposed to have less heat as one of its benefits but once I started using it I was surprised, when I realized how little heat it really is. I think I just got used to my old one which was hot. This is slightly above room temperature. (at maximum temperature) but now I see that I didn't need all the heat because this hair dryer dries my hair very quickly without heat! 2. One of the advertised features of this hair dryer is the tangle-free fabric cord. Well basically they took a regular plastic/rubber strap and covered it with fabric. So it's like an extra thick cord. It is very stiff and difficult to wrap around the hair dryer when put away. I found a method that works, so I got used to it, but it's a bit annoying.3. I find the handle a bit long, maybe it's because there's a loop at the end to "hang up" the dryer. I don't hang my dryer — I wrap the cord around the handle and put it in the closet. That's why I was disappointed with the line (see #2). All in all I think it's good value for money. Be aware - two sellers had the exact same dryer - one was around $40 and the other around $20. I went with $20 and I'm glad I did. It came in the original packaging and it worked right away. I recommend this product.
