No mode memory / unrealistic effect
Contrary to the description, it loses its mode setting when the power is cut off. The only way to get back to the regime you want is to do quick power cycles. The flame effect isn't very realistic either, it's more of a strobe light than dancing flames. I have some others that look way better. Wouldn't buy again.
