The manual was too low for an aluminum draft shield door. Turns out I could set it a little higher with no issues, so keep that gap in mind. Once set correctly, the Dorence door closer rotates slowly, gently and silently between 180° and 15°, giving the person enough time to get in or out. After 15° it closes quickly and fast enough to lock the door. The next item I will be installing is a doorstop to hold the door open when needed.
