Review on 🎮 OSTENT Full Repair Parts Replacement Housing Shell Case Kit for Nintendo DS Lite NDSL - Mario Style, Red Color by David Thomley

Just built DS lite with this shell. The transplant went fairly smoothly, although there are a few patches of plastic on the inside of the case that need to be scraped off with an X-acto blade to get it seated properly. The plastic of the case is actually a bit see-through, but that doesn't really bother me. The overall quality is probably a 7 or 8 out of 10 compared to original Nintendo cases, but if your current DS has a broken hinge or is badly worn then one of these new cases will make a world of difference. Overall, it's not a bad case, but it feels a little cheap, as you'd expect. The case comes with bezels in a matching color for the screens, as well as small screw caps and such, which is nice as some secondary cases don't have these.
