There were varying opinions on the fabric - it was either rough or soft - which I didn't quite understand. Now I do.Pros - the beautiful design, the vibrant colours, and they're 100% cotton.Cons - when you get them new, the fabric is shiny and soft, feels like 400 tc sateen. But once you wash them, they feel like 200 tc percale. They are definitely no longer soft. - I'm not a big fan of the piping around the fitted sheets. It doesn't stay lined up to the edge and then bugs me. It should just be smooth fabric.- Also, the flat sheet is not one piece of fabric as flat sheets always are. So there's a seam down the sides which I guess lines up with the edges of the bed. Except that I move my legs at night (I have RLS) so my toes and knees constantly catch the seam. I guess I can flip it so the pattern is down instead of up, as many people do, but I like the pattern facing up.I really wanted to love these sheets and I hoped to buy another set with another pattern I liked. But I think I'll pass.
