Review on Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches TP5853 25 by Jessica Lewis

Purchased to make name tags to attach to party favors. Was hoping the quality would be a little thicker as I've seen other tags much thicker. I doubt these particular tags are really 5 mil as they are much thinner than other tags I have. But for what I needed to do, they did the job. Easy to use and I liked that this order had everything - pockets, loop hole and the loop itself. It bends slightly after it goes through the laminator. But besides the fragility and the curved shape, I like that they are equipped with holes and hinges. Made it very easy to use! A few things I wish this list (or the box itself) was clearer about: 1. The product is 5 mil thick, which is the maximum thickness for regular (cheaper) laminators. The bag itself measures 4-1/4" x 2-1/2". With the hole open, this reduces the width to 4 x 2-1/2 inches. However, since you need to leave enough room around the perimeter(s) for the laminate to stick together, the recommended insert is the size of a business card, approximately 3-1/2" x 2".
