The chair does not recline - as many others have said

Like many people, the incline lever is stuck. The chair just won't tip no matter what. We turned the cocking knob both ways so many times I lost count. We've searched the web for answers and found that most people have just returned a chair. Apparently we're too stubborn for that, so we're now contacting product support to try and get a replacement disk. Only 4 screws were required to remove the panel. So if they send us a new one, that's an easy fix. I'll post an update when we fix this; I will also upvote if customer service makes it easy to replace the part.
