I have tried various chair covers including car seat covers but this is the best I have found. It is breathable, flexible, soft to the touch and very durable. I had issues with clothing based covers my cats scratching and worse they got very dirty and attracted a lot of hair. With this coating hair and dirt don't seem to cling to it as much and if they do you can easily brush the hairs off with very little effort which is very easy to keep clean. I've had trouble making sure the shape fits my chair with other covers, but this one fits really well because it's flexible. I think a high back chair would be recommended, but even with a headrest the cover gives the chair the shape of a glove. Highly recommend and would buy again if anything extreme happens to this cover!
