I was tired of losing the markings of traditional tools, so I bought them for the quantity and because I wanted to compare them. I am very happy with them. I usually use scribes to engrave my name and date of purchase on my tools. They work great and are of comparable quality to other more expensive writers. The shading is deep and comfortable to grip, all the tips are properly shaped, and the strength of the magnet on the back is satisfactory. The only issue I had with them was that the magnets on some of them didn't line up completely with the case, but that doesn't affect their usefulness. I have several more expensive writers with the same issue, so overall I don't mind.
