Great device, but it will take a day to figure it out. I used to have two simpler network disk devices (Seagate Personal Cloud WD My Cloud) - they were much easier to figure out. Pros below: 1. After I figured everything out - a surprisingly convenient and useful device. Works fast, does not slow down. Download speed - 80-100 megabytes per second. 2. Instructions for the first connection - very clear and simple. Only after this connection you get a working and connected device. But not at all tuned in. :) 3. Compact. Takes up very little space. 4. Almost does not heat up. 5. For home use, two available slots (up to 32 TB of disk space) are more than enough. 6. You can download torrent files directly to your device. Got cons: 1. There is no normal manufacturer's instructions on how to quickly set up this device for the simplest use after connection. You have to google and look for answers to specific questions. It took about 2 hours to figure out how to simply show a disk as a network drive on a home network. (Hint: In Synology Assistant, you need to select Drive Mapping.) 2. The sound from the disk is quite loud. Maybe I have such a drive model (Seagate Exos X16 16TB), but I would like better noise isolation. If placed in the bedroom - it will be really uncomfortable to sleep.
