This definitely improved the color of my leather sofa seats which had become significantly lighter with wear and tear. I have found that the application works best when the product is rubbed into the skin in circular motions. Be careful not to apply too much as excess will be difficult to remove after waiting 10 minutes. I applied two coats to the tops of three large sofa cushions, leaving just enough to spot treat other areas of fading on the sofa. It is recommended to use a protective skin cream. I would agree with this recommendation as it adds shine to the less worn areas of the sofa. The product will dull as it dries, so a conditioner is a must. It took me just over an hour to build the large sofa bed. I was considering a replacement until I tried this product. Now I'm sure I'll wear myself out a lot more from that, especially if I continue with the workout routine like I should have from the start. It was definitely easier and cheaper than buying a new sofa! I am planning to buy a different color for the leather chair. Nothing is likely to return the sofa to its original look, but it's a huge improvement.
