Bits crawl under the car.

So who is it for? For me, this is a great option between oil changes. I'm such an overweight guy, I change my engine oil earlier than recommended. For my Lexus gs350 that I just bought I believe 5k is the interval. I'm going to do a complete oil and filter change. After 3,000 miles I will just change the oil and not crawl under the car to find a filter and maybe a pint of oil. Another 3k and oil and filter. It is also excellent for power steering fluid or other oils of similar thickness. I warmed up my car and was surprised at how quickly the oil came out. Synthetic oil 5w30, mileage 1300km. This pump could pretty much pump out 6 liters. I didn't time it but it was done in 5 minutes, give or take. The hose length for the dipstick tube and the drain hose to my oil pan is just right. The pump was next to the radiator with a hose running through the front to catch the sump. I had to stretch the power clamp a bit to get to the battery, no big deal. The pump was fast. The only downside is that the thing is noisy. Even when the oil finally got to the pump the noise changed but didn't decrease much. I was next to the neighbor's window so I wasn't too happy. My solution was to move the pump around a bit and lower the hood almost to the closed position, which reduced the noise significantly. Since it was fast, no big deal. Will update if this pump has problems in the coming months. It's also great for stripped drain plugs or plugs or pans with other problems. If your car has an oil filter on top of the engine, this is a must.
