I have scanned over 600 negatives and over 100 slides so far, absolutely easy to use. It scans immediately when you press the "Scan" button. It's like taking a picture. You then save it to your SD card by pressing the second button. Then (assuming you have connected the USB cable to your computer after creating the batch of images) press the mode button and transfer the files from the SD card to the computer for cleaning, editing and save. An excellent and inexpensive way to convert old negatives, slides or images into digital files. However, don't expect a clean, high-resolution image. I've used Picassa to clean up files as much as possible and it usually does a pretty good job. The result is a good JPG screen that isn't good enough for printing. The perfect solution. The other option, if a company does this, gets expensive very quickly. This makes the cost of this machine cheap. Obviously you should provide labor, not them.
