I bought two of these bulbs about 5 months apart. Pros: Inexpensive. The price of these bulbs couldn't be lower - No hub required. No hub is required to control these lights like Philips Hue lights do. You can set their status via the app or the voice assistant. I found them to work well with Home Assistant, which I use to turn them on automatically, change colors, etc. Colors look good. I use these bulbs for accent lighting as they are not very bright. Easy setup. The iOS app works well. See below for my experiences with Android. Cons: - The Android app has issues. In the 5 months between buying the first and second bulb, the Android application (MagicLight WF) was updated. I found that despite following the instructions carefully and resetting the lightbulb a dozen times, I couldn't connect my second lightbulb to WiFi. When I finally tried setting up a lightbulb with my iPad, it connected to my home network immediately and flawlessly. I found the second bulb setup process so frustrating that I have to give this product a 4 star rating. If I couldn't use another device (iPad) to connect the lightbulb to my network, it would be useless to me.
