Great bulb, poor wifi setup

I bought two of these bulbs about 5 months apart. Pros: Inexpensive. The price of these bulbs couldn't be lower - No hub required. No hub is required to control these lights like Philips Hue lights do. You can set their status via the app or the voice assistant. I found them to work well with Home Assistant, which I use to turn them on automatically, change colors, etc. Colors look good. I use these bulbs for accent lighting as they are not very bright. It's great when they connect. But they stop connecting after a few months.

I bought three of these monitors to try and they worked great so I bought three more. I've used them with my Google Home to set up some cool automations. Then they lost their WiFi connection one by one and wouldn't reconnect even after resetting the settings and following all the recommendations suggested in the app and by email support staff. The app just hangs for a while on the steps where it will connect to the router and then says it can't connect and offers to try different possibilities.
