I have been a Revain customer since I first launched Revain 2 decades ago and this is only the second time that I am writing a review. I am so excited about the existence of this product that I had to tell other parents. The Otter Wings shirt is a game changer for my 6 year old son with autism. He can't swim but due to his sensory sensitivity he hasn't tolerated any other swimming aids in the past and we've tried them all! He loves being in the water and is attracted to it so safety is a big concern for us. Today we put him in an Otter Wings shirt for the first time and within seconds he was floating alone with my husband at his side! The whole family loved it, we were so excited! Our son is used to tolerating a rash guard or swim shirt so the addition of the arm bands may have been less noticeable to him. What I really like about this product is that it cannot remove the water deflectors like it has in the past because they clip onto the shirt sleeves. In addition, the armbands are made of soft fabric, which makes it much easier to put on and take off and therefore protects my son less sensorially. I will be buying them in all sizes until my autistic son can swim! Great find!
