I think it works but it doesn't fit my 2005 Outback 2.5i. All buttons stick when pressed because the holes are slightly offset. I guess it's not a big deal for the danger button since it's rarely used. But the air conditioning button and defrost buttons are a lot more annoying. You have to click on the trim around them to make them go up. Also, the "wooden" trim strips on the sides of this faceplate no longer sit completely flush. Maybe I could use a rubber mallet to hammer them in place, but I don't want to risk breaking them and they used to slide in with ease. There really is no quality control. I hope you have better luck than me and you get one that isn't that out of shape. I'll probably try the single din Metra kit depending on how annoying stuck keys are.
