Review on Hallmark Industries MA0343X 4 Submersible Stainless by Christopher Sullivan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great independent pump. 24V 2000W with inverter.

I bought this 1/2 HP pump. and installed in 2015. It is now December 2019. Almost 5 years. I live off the grid, it's powered by a 2000w pure sine wave inverter and 4 batteries. My 2000/2500 inverter easily handles current spikes/sinks. Which is remarkable for a 700w motor. The pump is about 150 feet below the surface and my static water column is 80 feet below the surface (the total depth of the well is 430 feet). Even at this depth, the pump has no problem pumping water to ground level and then sideways about 200 feet to the cistern storage. Piping in shaft 1”. Above ground piping 3/4”. The drain rate at the end is about 6 GPM. This is a very reliable and durable pump. I was very impressed. I am currently dealing with problems with the jet pump. I use a 1/2 HP jet pump. to take water from the tank and increase the pressure in the plumbing of the house. Its working stats are only 600 watts. But its input current causes my inverter to overload every time. So I'm currently using a jet pump from a 4000 watt generator to handle the wave. I'm including this to illustrate how good this proprietary pump is. Standard operating power is 100 watts more than a jet pump, but this feature is so well designed that its pulsed inrush current is minimal and easily handled by my inverter even with other loads running, whereas a lower operating power jet pump will trip my inverter every time , even if I literally turn everything off. This license plate is great!
