Review on Golden 36405 Acrylic Ground Pastel by Nicole Mcleod
Does NOT dry clear.
I bought this because I saw it used in class and wanted to experiment with pastel instead of watercolor. It was easy to use, with a wide opening for inserting a shaker, but it didn't dry out. I was disappointed because the teacher said in class it dries clear. I should have taken a closer look at the container. It dries with a slight milkiness and I can feel it contains a hint of yellow which dulls my watercolor underpainting. No problem if you cover the entire surface in pastel, but a shame if you were hoping some of the watercolor paint would show through.
