The idea of this broom is that you can change out the handle and the heads. The method of attachment really is very secure. While it is more secure than the standard screw method that is traditional, it is also limited to only using the heads or handles from this company. So these are a bit higher priced than some more traditional broom handles or heads.That isn't to say this isn't well made and a good broom. It is definitely a high quality broom. And as someone that used to be a janitor, I can say not having to screw in a handle all the time is a plus.But I do think you are paying a bit of a premium above the actual worth for what is essentially a proprietary connection.
