Review on 💡 Kurt Control Power Unit: Unlocking Kinetic Energy by Danny Poulin

I bought this to replace the resistance unit on my old Kinetic Road Machine trainer: After 10 years of heavy use every winter it was pretty good but eventually it started to 'bearing' " close. the noise and smell of burning were gone when driving at speeds in excess of 18 miles per hour. I wasn't planning to use Smart Control as a smart trainer with Zwift etc but since I signed up I think it's the best way to use it. Zwift will definitely make me stronger; and I'm not sure if it can be used offline, for use when watching documentaries, The Space, etc. I'll have to ask Kinetic. It's also great for the environment that Kurt Kinetic came up with a new brake block that just fits. on the old frame of a road car: A new frame is not needed, the old one is very stable. Hats off to this company! Connection Tips: The trainer did not connect to the Kinetic Fit app (on an Android phone) but immediately connected to the Zwift app. I'm not sure, but it could be because I didn't "wake up" the sensors by spinning the wheels for 10-20 seconds. Both Zwift and Ruvi saw the trainer immediately. If you're having connection issues, make sure your phone isn't connected to a system-level workout device (i.e. via iOS or Android): those workout apps should make their own connection.
