I am trying to reduce the need for single use plastic products. I like to take out the products I need and seal them in the original packaging. Often this is for frozen foods. I had something similar once and wore it. I moved in and this was bought to replace what I had. THERE IS A LEARNING CURVE. Depending on the thickness of the bag you are using, you may need to go faster or slower. I sometimes run it bad twice to make sure there are no leaks. But it works if you take your time and repeat it twice. In the beginning you either do too little or too much and end up with a hole in your pocket. I trim my bag if necessary, leaving room to run it twice.
