I bought a used futon at a flea market but it has seen better days. In particular, I knew I had to get myself a mattress topper. However, I had a hard time distinguishing between all these cases - there are so many different thicknesses, materials and prices. At first I thought I'd take the cheapest one, but the bad reviews made me think twice. Above all, I didn't want to hear the crackling of plastic. I ended up going for this "premium" cover, even though the price was (to be honest) more than I was willing to pay. Luckily this is a good product. The material is strong, yet soft and quiet, and the zipper is secure. I put a padded futon on this vinyl cover and overall it's quiet and comfortable. Everything went smoothly, without tears and fear. This is perfect for a full size futon and probably worth the extra cost.
