Conclusion: I recommend these boots for their quality material and comfort, warmth , Fit, easy on and off, true to size, flexible (like rain or snow) and good looking. However, I haven't owned these boots long enough to know how long they last or if they wear well - hence 4 stars. If they last even a season or two I would give them 5 stars. Details: I have two children aged six and almost four. I am *very* picky about their shoes and usually only buy children's shoes. Kids want boots that are cute, comfortable, and easy to put on and take off. I want them to be high quality, durable (so they can be passed on and/or resold), inexpensive (we live in Maryland; we may or may not use them), and have the same and accurate dimensions (all purchases that I work online). ) Last year, after reading many reviews, I bought Kamik boots. and was very disappointed. I ended up buying three different styles and didn't even like the boots we kept: Kamik Rocket Cold Weather Boots (toddler/toddler/big kids) Kamik Footwear Snowbug3 Insulated Boot (toddler). So I was ready to be disappointed. this year. But it wasn't me. These Bogs boots are exactly what I expected from Kamik boots. You can tell these are quality boots as soon as you open the box. the material is thick and durable; Soft inside, no cardboard. Boots were easy to put on. My four year old son wears a size 25 EU (8.5 US) with pedal and a size 9 Bogs fits him perfectly. He wore them with a pair of regular (not thick) socks and they fit with enough room at the toe and didn't slip at the heel. I also bought a pair for my daughter. She said they're only suitable for cooler weather because they're "warm as slippers."
