Works better than I thought!

We are planning a boat trip to the river and wanted to make sure we could communicate and take photos if needed! I found these floating waterproof cases. I tested one with floating and waterproof - it works! I have an iPhone XS Max and the case fits my phone with a case and socket. My friends have larger iPhones and the cases fit them. The plastic can feel a little hard, but I don't mind because my phone is dry!
