Good idea.but not what I thought
There are no directions for the timer on the remote control so I was unable to figure out how to get it to work for the timer. The battery pack hangs from the bottom which doesn't look good if you are wanting to hang them higher than the length of the cord and it makes it weigh a bit more. Overall, if you are going to hang them in a small window, it's fine, but not a big window.
