Review on πŸ’¨ Optimized Motor Guard M-60 Sub-Micronic Compressed Air Filter - 1/2 NPT by Don Devine

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great filter but problems with corrosion can occur if the filter is not removed after each use

This is a very economical solution to removing the last of the water particles from the air supply system and reducing filtration from micron sized ones Particles from the air supply before they reach the instrument after passing through a conventional particle filter and air dryer. If you really need the driest, cleanest air for painting or anything else that requires clean air, it's a good idea to install it at the end of your dryer and filter system to ensure all moisture is removed and the smallest of particles being filtered out from getting in. Your tool and your project. It's made of aluminum, so if the filter gets enough moisture, the inside of the aluminum filter housing will begin to corrode. To prevent this, I take out the filter roll after each use and hang it in a warm, dry place to dry, and I keep the filter case separate so any moisture it contains doesn't evaporate. Outside. This has worked great so far, it's just not that convenient to just leave it as is after work for the day so I just do it at the end of the day when I'm done using it when I am cleaning.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I won't say anything
