Review on Sassy Disposable Diaper Sacks Scented by Leslie Smith

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I used to like these but now they are too thin and smelly. What happened?

I've had a tumultuous love affair with Sassy's disposable diaper bags. These bags are always changing; There is absolutely no consistency in the making of these bags! When I first bought them, I think that was about 2 years ago, I hated them. They were too bulky (useless plastic waste) and smelled so strongly of chemical perfume that I had to keep them in a ziplock bag. I could still smell the scent seeping through the zipper, making my diaper bag and car smell like fake baby powder. I switched to an unscented bag from another company, I liked it, but that company was also starting to cut corners, so I decided to try Sassy again. It was only a few months ago and it was a box of 200. To my surprise, Sassy swapped out the sachets and made them a little thinner (in a good way), less perfumed and the powder smell became a little more natural. Hooray! Well those smaller boxes of 200 are out of stock (or they weren't there when I bought that huge box) so I bought this box of 400 thinking it would be the same as the last box that I got. I bought a few of these pieces. months ago. Unfortunately they have been changed once again and they are TERRIBLE. Now they are ridiculously thin and smell disgusting! They smell strongly of something that doesn't smell like real baby powder - more like smelly healing foot powder on a smelly foot. They smell so bad that I can't quite understand the body odor coming from the box even before I open it. I'm terribly disappointed and hope Sassy goes back to those intermediate pouches which were, yes, a little flimsy - maybe too flimsy for some people but perfect for us and not as flimsy and heavily scented as this box. .
