Review on Simbow Detector Refrigerant Conditioner Detection by Eddie Sanchez
Might work if you are near an open tank with the valve open.
The air conditioner has been leaking since it was installed in our house. I've tried two of these, sold under two different names, and they just randomly collect Freon when you're near the tank and open the valve.
