I bought this dongle to use in a 2013 Acura RDX. I cannot replace a small factory head unit with an aftermarket unit. I installed the AutoKit software on an 8" Fire tablet using the link and instructions that came with the dongle. I already had an old OTG cable handy. The OTG cable connects to the tablet's micro USB charging port. The AutoKit device is connected to the USB OTG port. My iPhone is connected to the device. Initially, the orientation is portrait format. I deleted the key, closed the AutoKit app, reopened the app and reinserted the key. The orientation changed to landscape and remained landscape. I use a window phone mount: a mount to hold my tablet.
