Review on πŸ’‘ Enhanced Belkin 6-Outlet Home and Office Power Strip Surge Protector with 4ft Cord by Michael Wehrman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good considering the price

Mainly used as an extension cord, not a surge protector. If you're thinking of getting this as a surge protector for heavy, power-hungry equipment, I'd recommend spending a little more and getting something else. I like the expansion form factor, but it feels like it could be done better. Although it has 6 sockets I can't use all of them as their layout leaves very little space to plug an adapter between two 3 pin adapters. If you have something with a large adapter, such as a MacBook charger, you will end up blocking some other outlets; can't even twist it to the ends as they are raised. I think if the product was better designed the sockets could be positioned so that the adapters stick out on the sides (rotate sockets 90 degrees). The switch is not noticeable at first glance, it is on the side at the end. At this price point (less than $10), however, there's not much to complain about. It does what I wanted very well, gave me more outlets to plug in my devices, and the 4-foot cord is long enough to tuck discreetly behind my desk. Minimal surge protection is just a small bonus for me.
