Review on 🌪️ BLACK POWERTEC 70198 Flexible Dust Collection Hose – 36-Inch Long, 2-1/2-Inch by Jason Pruett

I ordered this hose to replace a hose that broke on my jet table saw. A hose is connected to the blade guard to draw dust out of the table saw. The old hose broke briefly because it was full of sawdust when the base cabinet was opened. I tried another spring hose but for some reason the hose broke in a different spot. I think my clamps (universal) bumped the hose and broke it. When I received this hose I noticed that it was very stiff but could be pulled and pushed like an accordion and more or less long. I tested the hose on my saw which has fittings for 4" hose and it came through fine. I then tried my old 4" fittings on the hose but they didn't fit. The accordion style of the hose makes the body of the hose look larger than the type of reel I was using. I had to buy larger clamps. Now they are installed and the dust collector works very well.The dust from the saw blade area seems to be pulling more than before but I think the old hose broke a long time ago - maybe since I bought the saw.I have sawdust all the time cleaned out of the closet area and probably never looked for a tear. Or, if I looked, I didn't see it in the twilight, like the light conditions in the saw closet. The adjustable hose length was a lifesaver. I've had it with the saw full up and down and Tried up to 45 degrees and no problem It should work fine Remember the hose is not soft and flexible like many clear reels are d plastic tubing. It's somewhat rigid, although it still flexes due to the harmonica construction. AD2
