These socks are super cute, not too thin, and seem a good quality. The downside is there is something on them (a starch or something) and it is very strong. I am very sensitive to many chemicals and have a lot of allergies and the smell was overwhelming out of the package. I washed them once and tried a pair on and immediately took them off as my feet started to itch/burn. I have washed them 5 times, and they are a lot better, but I can still smell whatever the chemical is. Maybe the sixth time will work.
