Review on 💨 Maximize Efficiency with POWERTEC 70108 4 Inch Blast Gate for Dust Collector/Vacuum Fittings by Tremain Lapan

I have several of these at my shop and they work great when freshly installed; However, dust accumulates in the shutter area, which prevents it from closing completely, significantly reducing the ability to close the connector, which in turn significantly reduces its effectiveness. Also, one of them fell apart with minimal use, but their customer service was excellent and they said they would send me a replacement for this one. BTW I only gave "suction power" 2 stars given the above but obviously the suction power has nothing to do with this part but I interpreted the question as "the ability to close the suction as intended".
